Thanks to a serendipitous conversation and thoughtful follow-up by our friend Peter, we were able to attend the Miami Boat Show. It is advertised as the biggest boat show in the world. It certainly made the Boston and Newport boat shows seem intimate by comparison.
Given limited time, we confined ourselves to the hundreds of exhibits at the conference center since going to see the floating boats exhibit would have necessitated going across the causeway. And while we would have made the time and effort, we were a few zeros short on the net worth required to get an invitation to the megayacht exhibit.
